Exterior Refurbishment, New Kitchen & New Bathroom

This project involved the demolition of the existing garage and storage area, resulting in an approximate 50% increase in living space. Key elements of the renovation included the removal of the gable end wall to create an open-plan kitchen and dining room. Extensive internal works were carried out, featuring new doors, an oak handrail with spindles, a new bathroom, and the reconfiguration and enlargement of a bedroom, which was also fitted with bespoke wardrobes.

To enhance energy efficiency, an air source heat pump was installed for underfloor heating. The entire interior was decorated, and the front of the house was given a distinctive look with vertical slate features. Solar panels were added to the roof, and French doors with side lights were fitted at the rear. Comprehensive updates to the electrical system included new wiring, a new consumer unit, and the installation of a new staircase with newel posts and an oak handrail.

The exterior received significant upgrades as well. The extension was finished with a thin render coat system, and a sectional electrical garage door was installed. Additionally, a new porch was constructed, complete with a composite front door and side screen. The extended soffit featured external decorative lighting, adding both functionality and curb appeal to the property.
